Russ was our "pirate wedding planner" and he was fantastic! Russ knows everyone, or he knows someone who knows someone, and he will find what you want. We had trouble with our first wedding planner; she wasn't returning our calls. Russ always returned our calls promptly, and checked in with us frequently, so I didn't have to worry about the details so much--I knew Russ was on it.
Our guests also appreciated Russ' help planning their pre- and post-wedding boating/diving/dining excursions. It was nice for us to be able to give our guests one number to remember--this of course meant that our guests were not calling US so much!
We had a lovely and unique wedding (mokko jumbies, a carnival party, three catamarans and 100 guests going from St. John to Jost Van Dyke). We are very grateful for Russ' efforts. And he's a nice guy too.

even making sure our caterer knew how to find the villa where we were having a dinner reception the night before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Russ even showed up on the beach to help us set up for the ceremony. Not only was Russ an excellent planner who we couldn't have done without, we now consider him a very dear friend.
